The all-new QST 100 marks a fresh direction for Salomon’s QST lineup. Designed for playful, energetic skiing with a bias toward soft snow, it’s a fantastic all-mountain freeride ski that shines across the entire hill. Compared to previous versions, the updated model features a tighter turn radius, giving it more snap and liveliness on groomers for a truly fun ride.
Both the shape and construction of the QST 100 have been modernized. The build now focuses on reducing vibrations and enhancing damping performance across mixed snow conditions. As a result, it’s an excellent powder ski that doesn’t require going super wide. It handles everything from fresh powder to tracked-out, variable snow with equal confidence and enjoyment.
Although the QST series is rooted in freeride—ideal for launching cliffs and seeking out big terrain—it’s no slouch when you’re keeping your skis on the snow. The QST 100’s nimble handling and smooth turn initiation in deeper conditions make it a highly versatile 100mm-underfoot ski. It’s just as capable overseas as it is at home in Australia, though it may be less at ease on our typical hard-packed, icy slopes.
New for 2026, the entire Salomon QST line is now unisex. Salomon has retired the QST Lumen women’s model and now offers all lengths of the QST 100 in a single, inclusive design—ensuring everyone can find the right fit without compromising on performance.
