Technology
Cuff + Shell Boa Fit System
The single cable design allows the tension to self equalize always giving a consistent pressure to the shin. The improved wrap allows for better power transmission and improved comfort even at high tension.
Fastfit Instep
Softer TPU material is used in the instep area of select models’ shells for quick and easy entry and exit.
Dual Cuff Alignment
Dual-sided alignment system for +/- 2 degrees of lateral cuff adjustment.
Energy Bolt Spine
A bolted rear cuff gives Cortex excellent rearwards support and a precise forward flex. The top bolt can be removed to allow for a more progressive cuff response and slower rebound.
GripWalk Outsoles
Removable and interchangeable rockered soles designed to work with Marker’s GripWalk binding system for better grip and comfort while walking, standing, and hiking.
Ski Edge Sensitivity Shims
Ski Edge Sensitivity allow the skier to tune edge initiation of the ski. SES Shims on Medial side of liner Cuff produce more inside edge angle. Skis feel more reactive and quicker to edge, excellent for slower more precise skiing. SES Shims on the Lateral side of liner Cuff produce less inside edge angle. Skis feel more controlled and more stable, excellent for higher speeds.
