Description
The Smith Descend Jr MIPS is a safe and lightweight ski helmet for children and young skiers. The helmet weighs only 400 grams (size 53–58 cm) and features a weight-optimized in-mold construction, combining low weight with good strength and protection.
With zonal KOROYD coverage, the helmet provides effective shock absorption in vulnerable areas, while the integrated MIPS system protects the head from rotational forces during a fall. This makes the helmet suitable for active children who push themselves on the slopes.
The AirEvac ventilation system ensures good airflow, helping the child avoid overheating. At the same time, the Regulator climate control allows easy adjustment of ventilation based on conditions. The removable Snapfit SL2 ear pads provide high comfort and flexibility, depending on the weather and temperature.
The Smith Descend Jr MIPS is developed with the same technology as the adult model, but adapted to children's needs—with a focus on safety, comfort, and low weight.
